"Prayers are our petitions to God." They can
be formal or informal direct from the heart, but the highest and most perfect prayer is the Holy Sacrifice of
the Mass.

Prayer is raising of one’s mind and
heart to God and the requesting of good things from him. There are many ways to pray to God. However, it's important to
have a dialogue with God no matter how long it's been or the problem. Jesus called his disciples to vigilance and
invited them “to present their petitions to God in his name.” Jesus taught his disciples to pray with simplicity
of words and confidence in the Father. (Mt 6:5-15; 7:7-11) ... The Central Prayer of Scripture The Lords Prayer is
the most perfect of prayers… In it we ask, not for all things we can rightly desire but also in the sequence that they
should be desired. This prayer not only teaches us to ask for things, but also in what order we should desire them…
citing St Thomas Aquinas ... The Lords Prayer: Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in
Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And
lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

“The Apostles Creed” was written by the Apostles over 1,968 years ago, estimated
(about 30-40 AD). They wrote it to make certain that each Apostle taught the same message before leaving to spread the
Gospel of Jesus through out the world. Today, “The Apostles Creed” contains the same early Christian beliefs and
remains the basis for not only the Catholic Church but also many other Christian Denominations.
"The Apostles Creed":
I believe in God,
the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy
Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell;
the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty;
from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the
communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life ever lasting. Amen.

Sin turns us away from God and His will for us.
However, when we recite the Act of Contrition, especially after confession, we turn back to Him acknowledging our
need for His healing power in our lives. ... The Act of Contrition: ... O my
God, I am heartily sorry for having offended
Thee, and I detest all my sins because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but
most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who
are all good and deserving of all my love. I
firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to
confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend
my life. Amen. ... The Traditional Novenas: ... Traditional
Novena are prayed over a period of nine days of select prayers, with the Lords Prayer and Hail Mary;
usually invoking the intercession of Saint Jude, Saint Peregrine, The Blessed Mother or another Saint. The novena often include 9 days of attending mass. The novena traces its
development to the scriptural nine days of prayer by Mary, the Apostles and disciples asking for the gift of the Holy Spirit
after the Ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven.

The Rosary is
a certain form of prayer wherein we pray five decades of ten Hail Mary'x with an Our Father, a Glory Be and an Oh My Jesus
between each ten, while at the end of each of these five decades we recall successively in pious meditation. The Hail, Holy Queen, is the final rosary prayer.
Hail Mary: Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou
among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the
hour of death. Amen Glory Be:Glory be to the Father, and to
the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. ...
Oh my Jesus: Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls
to Heaven, especially those who have most need of your mercy. .. Hail, Holy
Queen: .. Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we cry, poor banished
children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen
